The numbers on the left side of both charts are the sales amount in dollars. The top chart shows that the price per square foot has gone up (from 2013 pricing) if the home is worth less than $600k.  This is a sign of a recovering market – the next phase will be price increases across the board.  The bottom chart varies more because less sales make up each month…
